Jersey gamer Tim McGuinness will be competing at the VRCL World Finals at IEM Katowice, “the biggest gaming event on the planet.”



Team Gravity is one of the top four EU teams at Echo Arena, a virtual reality game that combines frisbee with football in a zero gravity environment. It is one of two games being played competitively in Intel’s first VR Challenger League, the finale of which is being held at IEM Katowice on the 3rd and 4th of March.

McGuinness, founder of Virtual Reality Jersey and a member of Team Gravity, competed at the Echo Arena Regional Qualifiers in October 2017 and is now set to fly to Poland for the World Finals next month.

“I’m really happy and excited to be going to the very first VRCL World Finals,” says McGuinness, “The team worked really hard to get to this point and with a few last minute changes I think we might have what it takes to shoot for the top.”
